Data mining, especially frequent pattern mining across massive biological networks; integrative approaches to identifying phenotype specific pathways; DNA motif discovery and regulatory network interface; gene/protein function prediction; integration of epigenetic data and expression data to understand complex diseases such as cancer and autoimmune diseases.
